Malcolm M. Simms believes in giving his time, talent, and resources to the betterment of his community. He is actively engaged in diverse sectors of the community that include the business, civic and religious sectors.

Nurtured by a diverse group of educators and business professionals when he was young, Malcolm M. Simms displays the kind of preparation our youth need to make a positive impact on our community and our world.

He continues to exemplify the traits of an outstanding leader in every endeavor that he embarks on, and his goals are to operate in an area of excellence in every aspect of his life.

Malcolm M. Simms is a business relationship manager with J.P. Morgan Chase, one of the country’s largest financial firms. He has been working in finance for the past seven years and has played an integral part in helping businesses access capital throughout Long Island.

Malcolm is responsible for managing clients with revenues from $1 million to $5 million. Throughout the course of his career, he has built relationships and honed his abilities.

He is a consistent and capable problem-solver skilled at prioritizing and managing projects.  This aids in developing and maintaining strong client relationships within the firm.

Malcolm is also the vice president of the Westbury-Carle Place Chamber of Commerce, where he chairs the Young Professional Committee.

The team spends a lot of time bringing attention to and spotlighting local businesses by hosting networking events and biannual street fairs.  In addition, Malcolm is a member of the 100 Black Men of Eastern New York.

Malcolm enjoys networking and demonstrates expertise in strategic planning.

Throughout his career, Malcolm has loved serving the Westbury community, where  his family has lived for over 40 years.

In addition to work-related duties, Malcolm also does a great deal of community work, contributing to workshops for young males and career days for students.

Malcolm attended SUNY Old Westbury where he received his degree in business administration in 2017.

He has a passion for business, having grown up in a family of business owners.

Malcolm has been a mentor to several young professionals throughout Long Island across his career.

In addition to working hard for business and community, Malcolm allocates time to engage with his family. He lives in Westbury with his wife Janielle Simms and son Malcolm V Simms II. In his spare time, he loves to travel with them.
