Allison Storck’s journey in the realm of non-profit work began with a profound interest in making a difference. The intersection of this passion with her love for animals marked the inception of what she describes as “a match made in heaven.”

With a career kick-started in managing communications for North Shore Animal League America, Storck discovered her true calling in the animal non-profit sector.

This pivotal experience paved the way for her current role as the Director of PR & Marketing for the Smithtown-based Guide Dog Foundation and its sister organization, America’s VetDogs, a transition she made in 2017.

A seasoned public relations professional, Storck has proven her prowess by elevating the organizations’ brand image through strategic planning, design, and implementation of initiatives, creative campaigns, and PR events.

Her contributions have been instrumental in enhancing public awareness at both local and national levels, amassing an impressive two billion impressions for the sister not-for-profits.

Reflecting on her impactful work, Storck expresses, “There is something magical that happens when I see one of our clients get matched with a guide or service dog. These are stories that need to be shared, and I’m humbled to be a part of such life-changing missions.”

Beyond her core responsibilities, Storck spearheads the Puppy with a Purpose program, a collaborative effort with national sports teams, broadcast media outlets and corporations across the country to raise a future guide or service dog.

In this role, she orchestrates the showcasing of the dedication involved in raising future service or guide dogs. Since becoming a part of the team in 2017, Allison has overseen remarkable growth in the program, facilitating the inclusion of more than 30 dogs.

This expansion has been made possible through valuable partnerships with renowned entities such as NBC’s TODAY, New York Islanders, New York Mets, Washington Capitals, Houston Texans, NBC Baltimore, NBC Universal, and numerous other collaborators.

Not confined to her professional duties, Storck actively engages as a volunteer within the organization, assuming the roles of a volunteer puppy raiser and fundraiser.

Her commitment shines through as she successfully raised a guide dog for a visually impaired graduate from a New York-based program. Allison has puppy raised three dogs in total for the organization and has been honored with the role of a volunteer breeder caretaker.

Her boundless affection for both organizations is evident, and she finds perpetual inspiration in the remarkable clients she encounters and the exceptional staff she collaborates with regularly.
